The Yellow Barn and More

It may be hard to believe,

but it has been a full year 

since we first shared the existence of

The Secret Society of Barn Builders -

the gallery quilt makers for what was then

"a book" about to be published.

SO much has happened since then!

Version one of The Yellow Barn

BUILD A BARN was indeed published

by the American Quilters' Society

in April, 2016.

Version two of The Yellow Barn

As part of the book's release,

the SSOBB gallery quilts were displayed three times

as a curated grouping before being returned to their makers.

And this barn, The Yellow Barn,

is the first one that Max and I have quilted.

As usual, the first one is the most nerve wracking . . .

especially since it will be used as a Teacher's Sample.

(I also have another brand new barn to share -

that one will be walking-foot-quilted)
